The number one concept I teach to my clients is that our external reality is a reflection of our internal environment. Simply put, what we are experiencing outside of ourselves, in our personal world, is a mirror of our internal thoughts, beliefs, and emotions. It is the way in which we feel about or treat our very own selves!
This is oftentimes a difficult concept to grasp because it means we must become accountable for our reality and take responsibility for what thoughts and beliefs we are ‘feeding’. When you water a plant, it grows. The same applies to your thoughts and beliefs. What are we growing and giving life to? We must OWN that our experiences are a reflection of that which we feed within US.
If you are experiencing a life of chaos you need to clear the chaos that resides inside of you. If you are experiencing lack you need to use that as an indicator that something is lacking within you. Are you lacking self-love, self-esteem? Do you believe you are worthy? If you are feeling abused, where are you abusing yourself? Judged? Where are judging or beating yourself up?
I think you get the idea. When we can grasp this concept, we can use the external experiences we encounter as a compass to navigate what needs healing internally. We can use them to majestically transform pain into joy, lack into abundance and chaos into order.
Pay attention to what your reality is telling you. If you don’t go WITHIN, you go without.
